Itinerary

Day by Day

Day 1–2: Serengeti National Park

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel and a transfer to Arusha Airport. From there, you will fly to the heart of the Serengeti, in Seronera. If you’re arriving from other locations such as Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar, we will organize your flight directly to the Serengeti and adjust your package accordingly. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains, where you’ll have the chance to witness some of Africa’s most incredible wildlife up close. This area is especially famous for the annual Great Migration, where large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes journey together across the savannah. You will spend two exciting days exploring the park on guided game drives, experiencing unforgettable encounters with animals like lions, elephants, and perhaps even cheetahs. Each evening, you’ll relax and enjoy comfortable accommodation within the Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti-Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, giving you more opportunities to spot wildlife in the golden light. Lunch will be served picnic-style within the park, allowing you to continue enjoying the scenery. In the afternoon, your journey continues as you travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your accommodation will be set on the scenic rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, providing stunning panoramic views of the landscape below. Here, you’ll be able to unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare for more exploration the next day. The comfortable setting and fresh highland air will ensure you’re well-rested for the adventures that await in this unique, world-renowned conservation area.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater, created millions of years ago by a collapsed volcano, is often described as a “lost world” due to its rich, diverse landscapes that include grassy plains, woodlands, lakes, and marshes. This unique environment supports a concentration of wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and more than 500 species of birds. You may also have the rare chance to spot the endangered black rhino here. After an adventurous morning and a relaxing lunch inside the crater, you’ll leave the conservation area and travel to Karatu. Here, you will settle into your accommodation, where you can enjoy a warm dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5: Karatu to Tarangire NP

After breakfast, your safari continues as you head to Tarangire National Park, known for its striking baobab trees and the meandering Tarangire River. The park’s varied habitats support large herds of elephants, often seen moving gracefully among the woodlands and grasslands. Tarangire is also home to many other animals, including giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeest, as well as predators such as lions and leopards. Bird lovers will appreciate the park’s rich variety, with hundreds of different species. After a satisfying wildlife viewing experience and a picnic lunch within the park, you’ll proceed to your comfortable lodge. There, you can relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on the day’s sightings in a tranquil setting.

Day 6: Tarangire to Arusha

On your final morning, you’ll enjoy breakfast before heading out for one last early game drive in Tarangire National Park. After a leisurely drive and lunch in the park, you will be driven directly to Arusha Airport. Our team will assist you with your departure, whether you are catching your flight home or traveling onward to Zanzibar.
