The Tarangire Kuro Treetops Lodge’s location is perfectly chosen for an immersive safari. It is set deep within the park, just 10 minutes from the vital Tarangire River and 15 minutes from the Silale Swamp—a famous, marshy plain that attracts huge numbers of animals, especially during the dry season. This means you are never far from the best game-viewing action.
Getting to the lodge is simple. For guests flying in, the Kuro Airstrip is only 8 km away (a 10-minute drive). For those driving from Arusha, the journey is approximately 143 km.
As its name suggests, the lodge is uniquely designed along the baobab tree line, giving it a “treetop” feel and offering wonderful elevated views.

The lodge features 25 luxury tents, all perched on elevated platforms to provide a perfect vantage point over the wilderness.
Each tent is designed for comfort and privacy, featuring luxury bedding and a full ensuite bathroom.
