Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge is just a 20-minute drive (19 km) from the Sangaiwe gate and 20 minutes from the main park entrance, making it incredibly convenient for full-day game drives. Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge boasts one of the best locations in the region. It is situated on a sprawling 300-acre private estate directly on the picturesque shores of Lake Burunge, offering guests incredible, uninterrupted vistas.

The lodge features 30 rooms, all strategically built on elevated platforms to maximize the breathtaking views of Lake Burunge and Tarangire. The accommodation is divided into two main styles, perfect for everyone from couples to large families.

Tented Rooms (Superior / Double Twin): There are 20 of these classic safari tents. Ideal for couples or solo travelers, they offer an authentic “under canvas” feel while providing full comfort and privacy (Max 2 guests).

Family Bungalows (Bungalow Room / Superior Family Suite): The 10 spacious bungalows are specifically designed for families and groups (Max 4-5 guests). These rooms cleverly feature flexible sleeping arrangements, such as one king-size bed (which can be converted into two twin beds) plus a separate queen-size bed.
