We have invested in this program to protect your safari funds from highly unlikely but disruptive events, specifically a travel partner (like a lodge, local airline, or transfer company) becoming financially insolvent. In short: Your money is safe with us.
What Our Guarantee Promises You
This guarantee is a simple promise: If any supplier that we have booked and paid for on your behalf fails financially and cannot provide your accommodation, transport, or activity, we will refund you for the cost of that service. This allows you to relax, knowing that from the moment you book with us, your investment is protected.

How You Are Protected
In the rare event of a supplier failing, you can request a refund for:
- The cost of replacing the cancelled service (for example, booking a new, similar lodge).
- The cost of getting home early if the cancellation cuts your trip short.
- The deposit or full payment you paid for that service, if your trip was cancelled before it started.
A Few Important Details
To keep this guarantee clear and fair, please keep the following in mind:
- This guarantee covers all services that our company books and pays for on your behalf.
- Any application for a refund must be made within three months of your travel date.
- The maximum refund provided is $10,000 per person.
- You cannot claim a refund from both our guarantee and your personal insurance for the same loss.

Important: Our Guarantee vs. Travel Insurance
This is the most important part to understand: Our Client Protection Guarantee is NOT the same as comprehensive travel insurance.
Our guarantee is automatically included in your trip and protects you only against supplier financial failure. Travel insurance, which you must purchase separately, is much broader. It protects you from personal, and much more common, issues like:
- Trip cancellation or interruption (due to personal or family illness)
- Medical emergencies and evacuation
- Lost or delayed baggage
- Flight delays
- We strongly recommend you purchase a separate, comprehensive travel insurance policy from a trusted provider to fully protect your entire trip.
