Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Iringa to Ruaha National Park

In the morning, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Iringa and driven to Ruaha National Park, a journey of approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into your budget accommodation within the park and have lunch.

In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in Ruaha National Park. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and various species of antelope. You will have the opportunity to spot these animals as your guide takes you through the park in search of wildlife.  After the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

After breakfast, you will spend the whole day exploring Ruaha National Park on game drives. Your guide will take you to different parts of the park, where you can observe the wildlife in their natural habitat. You may also have the chance to see crocodiles and hippos along the Great Ruaha River, which runs through the park.

During the day, you will have a picnic lunch in the park, allowing you to maximize your time for wildlife viewing. Your guide will be knowledgeable about the animals and their behaviors, providing interesting information and insights.

In the late evening, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ruaha National Park to Iringa

After breakfast, you will have a final game drive in Ruaha National Park, allowing you to spot any wildlife you may have missed during the previous days. You will then check out of your accommodation and begin your journey back to Iringa.

Along the way, you may have the opportunity to stop at local markets or villages, giving you a chance to learn about the local culture. You will arrive in Iringa by afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation, marking the end of your three-day budget safari.
