Lemala Nanyukie Lodge

Lemala Nanyukie Lodge Safari sanctuary is located east of Seronera. It is one of Lemala’s newest luxury additions and offers stunning views, sitting on a grassy opening from the kopjes. It is shaded by African acacia trees and fitted with canvas walls and hardwood decks for a contemporary feel.

The main communal area has a comfortable lounge and bar with attached decking, leading to an outdoor swimming pool. You can dine indoors or outdoors, under canvas or in the African sky.

The swimming pool is close to the main communal tent and sheltered by a large kopje outcropping. Head to the pool for privacy and to soak up the afternoon sun, or dip into the pool to cool off before having some cocktails. It is a great spot to relax after a long day out on the endless plains, with amazing views of the Serengeti National park. The spa tent is not far away, hidden among the trees, offering various massage treatments

The 15 luxurious guest tent suites at this location are spaced away from each other for maximum privacy. All standard suites have incredible views, is contemporary-designed, and furnished with hardwood flooring and furniture, a spectacular chandelier, and an oversized bed. The suite is spacious with a bedroom, lounge, and bathroom with a shower and free-standing bathtub. There is also a private wooden deck with sunken seating, a plunge pool, and an outdoor shower.

Activities at Lemala Nanyukie Tented Lodge

If you’re hoping to see the annual wildebeest migration, you’ll be treated to a spectacle of thousands of these animals crossing the Mara River. Even if you’re not visiting during the migration, though, there’s still great game viewing all year round in this area, which is known for its concentration of big cats.

You can join a game drive or bush walking safaris led by one of Zepisa African Safaris and Lemala’s expert guides, who will show you where to find the best wildlife spotting opportunities. You’ll learn how to track the animals, where their favorite sunbathing spots are, and get an insight into the life these animals lead in the Serengeti.

Take a hot-air balloon safari ride to see the herds travel across the plains, the big cats hunt for their prey, and the birds soar through the air. You can sip on champagne while you enjoy the views. Once you land, you’ll be treated to a bush breakfast before heading back to camp.

Then, watch the sunset over the plains with a sundowner in hand. Enjoy the night sky filled with stars as you chat with your fellow travelers about your adventures during the day.
