Activities at Four Seasons Serengeti

One of the key reasons to visit the Serengeti is to see iconic animals in their natural habitat. During a balloon safari (available for an additional cost), you’ll be able to see the Serengeti landscape from the air. You’ll wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and then go on an hour-long sunrise hot-air balloon flight across the savannah. Once you land, you’ll have a delicious champagne breakfast in the bush.

Another great way to get up close to the splendors of the Serengeti is by immersing yourself in a walking safari. Take an intimate, 90-minute guided walk with local Maasai guides and national park rangers to explore the Serengeti landscape and discover animal tracks, insects, and medicinal plants. Then, drive one hour to the Retina Hippo Pool to see a pod of hippos up close. You’ll be able to watch the rest of the river bend from above, play in the water, and fly through the air. It will be an extraordinary experience.

The Four Seasons Serengeti discovery center is a museum and lecture hall in one. It offers an interactive experience where you can learn about the wildlife, history, and people of the Serengeti. The center has an interactive map of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem that highlights the movements of the Great Migration. You can explore the center on your own or get help from one of the local guides.
