Welcome to Tarangire Simba Lodge, the most up to date expansion to Simba portfolio lodges. Tarangire National Park is a pearl on the northern safari circuit. Abounding with untamed life, particularly in the dry season, this destination is a safari-goers dream. Situated outside Tarangire National Park, near Sangaiwe Gate close to the new Sangaiwe Gate of Tarangire National Park. Tarangire Simba Lodge is arranged in a natural life rich zone with unrestricted views to wonderful Lake Burunge, bordered by the park and a Wildlife Management Area. The setting is stunning; with a giant old Baobab tree anchoring one corner and a permeating feeling of real Africa.
The lodge opened in mid-2015 (July) and has sixteen exemplary tents undercover. Inhabitant natural life incorporates lion, zebra, bushbuck, impala, porcupine, monkeys, warthog, mongoose, and then some. Elephant, wild ox, ostrich, and giraffe as often as possible pass through while the birdlife is prolific and vibrant.
Areas surrounding national parks are critical for conservation. The location of Tarangire Simba Lodge creates a buffer between the park and the nearby village areas, which, although currently sparse in population, are under cultivation and could be subject to human/wildlife conflict. We work closely with the rangers at the nearby station to ensure that the wildlife is not compromised
During the dry season gatherings of elephant, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, and more go to a little waterhole situated before the lodge. Fortunate visitors can watch wildlife directly from their rooms or the elevated viewing platform near the pool.
Visitors can enter, exit, and reappear from the Sangaiwe entryway of Tarangire National Park easily.
“The rooms are fabulous – and enormous! Truly immaculate, with very much idea out subtleties like the global connectors and electric lamps.”
